The JUVÉDERM® collection uses advanced Hylacross™ and Vycross® technologies to create smooth, hyaluronic acid-based gels formulated for different areas of the face. JUVÉDERM® XC is manufactured using Hylacross™ technology, creating a smooth-consistency gel that helps soften moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds, particularly around the nose and mouth. It is also formulated with lidocaine to help improve comfort during treatment.

JUVÉDERM® VOLLURE® XC
JUVÉDERM® VOLLURE® XC is injected into the areas of facial tissue where moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds, such as the parentheses lines or “smile/laugh lines” around the nose and mouth—also known as nasolabial folds—as well as deep lines that extend from the corners of the mouth to the chin—also known as marionette lines—occur.

JUVÉDERM® VOLLURE® XC is designed to temporarily correct facial wrinkles for a smoother appearance to the face for adults over the age of 21.
JUVÉDERM® VOLBELLA® XC
JUVÉDERM® VOLBELLA® XC injectable gel is for injection into the lips for lip augmentation and for correction of perioral lines (lines around the mouth), often called lipstick lines, vertical lip lines, or lip wrinkles in adults over the age of 21.

First approved by the FDA in 2006, JUVÉDERM® Ultra Plus XC corrects moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds, such as the parentheses lines or smile/laugh lines around the nose and mouth, also known as nasolabial folds. Young, healthy-looking skin contains an abundance of a naturally hydrating substance called hyaluronic acid (HA). But as you age, sunlight and other factors can reduce the amount of HA in your skin. Understanding Where Wrinkles Form
Your skin consists of two layers known as the epidermis and the dermis. The epidermis, or outer layer of the skin, acts as the skin’s primary defense against the environment. The dermis, or innermost layer of the skin, is composed primarily of connective tissue and provides the skin with a support network.
