Microdermabrasion
Pre/Post Treatment Instructions
Microdermabrasion is a non-invasive exfoliating treatment that removes dead skin cells, smooths texture, and brightens the complexion. But because it involves mechanically resurfacing the skin, proper pre- and post-care is essential to protect your skin and enhance your results.

- Do not use retin A or other exfoliating creams 24 to 72 hours prior to your treatment.
- Avoid sun exposure and sun tan spray or lotion for at least one week before the treatment.
- Candidates who have had a recent chemical peel or other skin procedures; such as collagen injections, should wait two or three weeks before getting a Microdermabrasion.
- Prospective patients should also refrain from waxing one week before treatment.

exposed to the sun. - Do not expose the treated area to sun for prolonged periods for four weeks post treatment or in-between treatment sessions.
